Jasmine and Reginald belong together. Belong. Completely and totally. I cannot imagine one without the other. It’s as if they have always been together, and it’s hard for me to believe they are only now getting married. I consider myself extremely lucky to be the one to document their life together. Life. Singular. Because that’s what they are. Singular. And they share one life. Together.
When we pulled up to the Tunica Riverpark, both Jasmine and Reginald greeted me a hug. I love that! Like, LOVE that. Like we are old friends, which we indeed now are. Reginald is one of the funniest guys I know, and we laughed the entire time. No exaggeration. Usually I am the one who tries to get my couples to laugh, but Reg (you know I’m going to one-syllable it, Reg) made my job easy. He kept us all in stitches, and put Jasmine (and himself) at ease in front of the camera.
See that mischievous look on his face? Oh yeah. He just said something to make us all laugh.
I had to be quick to catch serious moments like these.
The Tunica Riverpark is an amazing place! I was inspired as soon as we saw it.
Go on wit your bad self, Jas.
Reg, you’re not so bad yourself. When I can get you to shut up long enough to capture looks like this!
One of my favorites from the day. While I was getting this…
Ed was taking this one. Le sigh.
Reginald even makes himself laugh!
This is a common look on Jasmine’s face. It says, “you just said what??”
If you look closely at the photo on the left, you can see Reginald practicing his “Sears model pose.” His term. Oh yeah, he’s got it down. Perfected in the photo on the right.
Jasmine, you are fashionable without even trying!
Jasmine was a dancer, so she is oh-so-good at the “pretty feet.”
And loving on her man. But she doesn’t need dancing skillz for that.
Jas and Reg, I can’t tell you how much fun we had with you! I absolutely cannot wait for the wedding! And we are going to go out for that drink. Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your lives. You are both a joy!
