They are so good at each other. He knows exactly how to make her laugh, and she knows exactly how to make him cry. Comfort, joy, mirth, tolerance, and love – they all come naturally. Where they excel at the things they have in common, they surpass in the things they don’t. They balance each other perfectly, like equal weights on a scale. There is no one they would rather be with than each other. No one can make them glow like each other. The only ones they could ever love is each other.
Brandon grudgingly removed his sunglasses when it was time to see Bailey for the first time on his wedding day. But she’ll see me cry, he said with a smile. When he turned around and saw his bride, Brandon, who is always the jokester, was speechless. His eyes did indeed get teary as he gazed at the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He pulled her close and buried his face against her shoulder. Then he recovered, spun her around, and started back in with the jokes. He has a way of lightening every mood, and that is one of the things that Bailey loves about him. They spent the rest of the day in a blissful daze. Enjoying each other.
Bailey and Brandon got married outdoors at historic Davies Plantation, and the day was perfect for an outdoor wedding.
Bailey got ready at her mom’s home, and her Maggie Sottero gown was almost as beautiful as she was.
Glitter is goooood.
Bailey’s mom wanted photos of her in front of the front door and on the staircase, and I was more than happy to oblige.
Bailey and Brandon chose to see each other before the ceremony, and I loved their First Look! Brandon was quite emotional as he saw his bride for the first time.
Brandon, you’re thinking exactly what I am: yum!
It was hot outside, but these two handled it like pros.
Davies Plantation is one big photographer’s delight! There were so many great places for photos.
I love this shot of Brandon that Ed caught.
Brandon, I have to say… you make a very dapper groom!
Bailey could not have chosen better bridesmaids.
And all the men were very debonair!
Bailey and Brandon had tons of gorgeous details! This desk and chair greeted guests at the ceremony site.
I always tell my couples that the First Look never takes away from the moment the bride walks down the isle. It’s a completely different set of emotions. Even though Brandon had already seen Bailey earlier in the day, he still got choked up when she met him at the altar.
And he couldn’t wait for the minister’s permission – he was kissing his bride before he finished!
Afterwards, we took a few minutes to record Bailey and Brandon’s first married moments in the setting sun.
The Hillwood reception had so many beautiful details, including lots of lanterns and succulents. Gorgeous!
The first dance…
Bailey and Brandon, we can’t tell you how honored we are to have shared the day with you. Even though it was hot, it was the perfect day. Thank you so much for the laughs, the tears, the dancing, the abundant fun, and thank you for being you!
